Arcade Fire is headlining out on their ‘Infinite Content’ tour in 2017 and it is all kicking off on September 5th in Quebec City, Quebec.
Arcade Fire will be out in support of their new album, Everything Now. Select dates feature support from Wolf Parade, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Phantogram, Angel Olsen, Broken Social Scene, and Grandmaster Flash.
Founded in 2011 in Montreal, Quebec, Arcade Fire is a indie rock band consisting of husband and wife Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, along with Win’s younger brother William Butler, Richard Reed Parry, Tim Kingsbury and Jeremy Gara. The band rose to fame in 2004 with the release of their album Funeral. Their third studio album, The Suburbs, was released in 2010 and earned the band international fame and they began selling out larger and larger venues. That album won the 2011 Grammy for “Album of the Year”. The band plays guitar, drums, bass guitar, piano, violin, viola, cello, double bass, xylophone, glockenspiel, keyboard, synthesizer, French horn, accordion, harp, mandolin, and hurdy-gurdy, and takes most of these instruments on tour.
