Arctic Monkeys Set Fall Dates

The Arctic Monkeys take to the road once again as the band stakes out a September-October run in support of their upcoming album.  Stops include Toronto, Chicago and Los Angeles and the Austin City Limits Music Festival.

The new album, dubbed AM, arrives in stores Sept. 10 via Domino.  Produced by James Ford and co-produced by Ross Orton, the album has already spawned its first single – “Do I Wanna Know?” – accompanied by a nifty animated video.

At this time the band is listing only 13 U.S./Canada shows.  Arctic Monkeys will play two nights in Los Angeles and two separate days at Austin City Limits Music Festival with shows booked for Baton Rouge, Chattanooga, Nashville and Birmingham, Ala., between their two ACL appearances.  Other festival gigs include the Music Midtown Festival in Atlanta.  The band is also on the lineup for the Corona Capital Festival in Mexico City in October.
