Billy Joel will play his 31st concert at Madison Square Garden this July.

Joel became Madison Square Garden’s first-ever musical resident in 2013.  At that time he said he’d play the famed venue once per month as part of the Time Warner Cable Concert Series as long as fans kept buying tickets.  Now he’s considered one of the building’s franchises, along with the New York Knicks, Rangers and Liberty.
