The Detroit Tigers finished off the 2017 MLB season with 64 wins and a last place finish in the American League Central. The Tigers failed to make the MLB Playoffs. In the 2018 MLB season the Tigers are looking to make the 2018 MLB Playoffs and retain their 1st place finish in the American League Central that they obtained in 2014.
The Detroit Tigers have been around since 1901, and are part of one the best sports town the USA has to offer, the other being the Red Wings (NHL), Pistons (NBA), and Lions (NFL).Over the years, the Tigers have on four World Series with the latest being in 1984. They play in the tough American League Central which also include Major League’s Baseball’s Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians, Kansas City Royals, and Minnesota Twins.
The MLB Tigers last appeared in the World Series in 2012 though falling short against the San Francisco Giants. Led by, Miguel Cabrera and Justin Verlander, the Tigers are looking to get back to the “Fall Classic” in 2017.
