The 2016-17 NBA Season was a playoff season for the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers made the NBA playoffs, however, lost to the Celveland Cavaliers in the first round. The Pacers posted a 42-40 NBA record and finished 7th in the NBA Eastern Conference. The Pacers are looking to feed off that success in the 2017-18 NBA season under head coach Nate McMillan.
The Indiana Pacers joined the NBA in 1976 and have won three championships over the years. The Pacers have lifted four player’s jerseys to the rafters: Reggie Miller, Mel Daniels, George McGinnis, and Roger Brown. Chris Mullin, a Team USA player as well, is another notable player who has played for the Indiana Pacers.
The Pacers play their home games at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN. The arena opened in 1999 and seats a little more than 18,000 NBA fans. The seating consists of lower level and upper level seating as well as private suites around the concourse.
