Formed in 1996, Queens of the Stone Age is a rock band from Palm Desert, CA that’s line-up includes founder Josh Homme, Troy Van Leeuwen, Michael Shuman, Dean Fertita, and recent addition Jon Theodore. Queens of the Stone Age developed a style of riff-oriented, heavy rock music.
