Singer Makes His Announcement on the CMT Music Awards Red Carpet

Kip Moore is set to heat up the stage this fall in his first-ever headlining tour.

CMT on Tour 2014: Up in Smoke will kick off Sept. 25 in New York City, and the platinum-selling singer announced his big news on live television during the CMT Music Awards red carpet show.

“I’m out here with Kip Moore who is playing for his fans on the red carpet, and Kip has a huge announcement right here for everybody,” said CMT Hot 20 Countdown‘s Cody Alan. “Whatcha want to tell people?”

“We’ll be headlining the CMT Tour in the fall,” Moore replied in typical laid-back fashion. “I’m taking out Charlie Worsham and Sam Hunt, who I respect so much, so I cannot wait to headline a bunch of shows and stretch my legs and play longer than 40 minutes, you know?” Read more here.
