The Detroit Lions are coming off an 9 game winning season. The Lions placed 2nd in the NFC North however lost to the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card Round of the NFL Playoffs. The Lions are looking to get back to the NFL Playoffs in the 2017-18 NFL season.

Formed in 1930, the Detroit Lions are a professional football team based in Detroit. The Lions compete in the National Football League (NFL) in the NFC North division against teams like Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, and Chicago Bears. The Lions plays their home games at Ford Field in Downtown Detroit in front of 65,000 football fans. They are one of four current teams and the only NFC team to have not yet played in the Super Bowl.
