The Buccaneers currently compete in the National Football League (NFL) in the NFC South division against rivals Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, and Carolina Panthers. The Bucs play their home NFL games at the Raymond James Stadium in front of 65,000 fans. The Buccaneers are the first post-merger expansion team to win a division title, win a playoff game, and to host and play in a conference championship game; all three accomplishments occurred during the 1979 season. Steve Young, Warren Sapp, Tim Brown, and Tony Dungy are a few of the NFL Hall of Famers to come through the franchise.
