The Houston Rockets are coming off a playoff year in the 2016-17 NBA season (55-27). However, the Rockets lost to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Western Conference Semi-Finals, 2-4. The Rockets are looking to expand on their NBA playoff run for the 2017-18 NBA season.

They play against tough league competition like the San Antonio Spurs, Memphis Grizzlies, Dallas Mavericks, and New Orleans Pelicans. Over the franchise’s history the Rockets have had some great talent come through Houston such as Rick Barry, Elvin Hayes, Moses Malone, Scottie Pippen, and Yao Ming. They have won two NBA Championships in 1994 and 1995 behind the leadership of Clyde Drexler and Hakeem Olajuwon.
