Katy Perry made an appearance on Saturday’s ESPN College Gameday on October 4th. But why was Katy Perry in Mississippi for the event? College Gameday has been supporting guest appearances all season and Katy Perry was this weeks guest host. Her manager is rumored to be an Ole Miss graduate and she was there supporting his team. So on to the pick. Katy Perry picked the winner, over host Lee Corso, in the game between Ole Miss and Alabama. Ole Miss won the game 23 to 17. Alabama was the #1 college football team in the nation.

Katy Perry also made it clear that she would not be doing the Super Bowl halftime show. She explained, “We had some conversations, and I would be honored, of course, but … I have let them know that I’m not the type of girl that would pay to play the Super Bowl, so … the ball is in their field.”
